The Williston Northampton School is a co-educational boarding and day school located in Easthampton, MA. The Head Athletic Trainer position is a key member of the Athletic Administrative team. While its primary function is to serve as the Head Athletic Trainer, this position’s responsibilities support the day to day operation of the Athletic Department.

The certified Head Athletic Trainer:

  • Is a health care professional who meets the qualifications set by state licensure and the Board of Certification, Inc. and practices athletic training under the direction of the School Physician/Medical Director
  • Provides services to include prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions
  • Is a highly qualified, multi-skilled health care professional defined by Health Resources Administration (HRSA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHA)
  • Is responsible for the health and safety of Williston student athletes participating in the school’s afternoon program, as well as visiting teams on game days.

The successful candidate will: be NATA Board Certified, and possess current MA Professional Licensure as well as current CPR and first aid certifications; exhibit excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strict sense of confidentiality; have three-five years’ experience, preferably in an academic or independent boarding school setting; have solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), database management, and injury management software systems, familiarity with Veracross also a plus; possess a valid driver’s license. The Williston Northampton School, an independent, co-educational boarding and day school located in Easthampton, MA, seeks a dynamic Leadership Gifts Officer responsible for building and enhancing relationships with approximately 150 – 200 donor prospects. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Leadership Gifts Officer plays a key role in securing private philanthropic gifts in support of the mission of the school, and will travel extensively to meet with donor prospects. Responsibilities will include: formulate strategies for building relationships with donor prospects and soliciting gifts to the School; solicit major capital and annual gifts, as well as deferred gifts where appropriate; work collaboratively with colleagues in Advancement to formulate and implement department strategies; be an ambassador of the School, its mission, and Advancement.
